We are working our way through a new sermon/worship series called the With-God Life, which will be an overview of biblical history from Genesis-Revelation through the lens of spiritual formation.
The purpose of the With-God Life series and approaching the whole story of scripture in this way is so that we may grasp more fully how God has mediated God’s presence with individuals and groups over the ages and how in turn humans have responded in relationship with God and in community.
Our hope and goal for the With-God Life Series is to experience the synergy that happens when we study the whole story of scripture in-depth in community in order to claim our place in God’s story as we are being transformed into the likeness and character of Jesus.
We will be on this journey together for a while. Below you will find some resources to help you as you read the scriptures at home or in a small group.

Many of the ideas and concepts in this series can be found in the Revovare Study Bible (Be aware the current edition of this has small print – an older used hardback edition might be more useful). Much of the supplemental material we’re using from that Bible can be found in the book Life With God by Richard Foster. We also highly recommend Foster’s classic work Celebration of Discipline. You can find an overview of the big picture of how God’s presence has been mediated with humanity and how humanity has responded, HERE. The Renovare website also has online courses that can help you or your family or small group understand Spiritual Formation.
