Laity Sunday
This Sunday, January 19, we will celebrate the ministry and witness of lay persons in our congregation and everywhere. On Laity Sunday we embrace our shared vocation (lay persons and clergy) to proclaim, grow in, and embody the good news of saving love in Jesus Christ. As we welcome and offer the good news of Jesus to all, we commit to grow in love and respond to a world that needs God’s redeeming grace. Our Lay Leader Susan McCullen and Assistant Lay Leader Kenna Coley will lead us in this special service at 11am in our sanctuary. (Lisa Fox filled in for Kenna who was unable to attend)
