Sunday, September 7 Traditions worship service. This Sunday, September 7th, we will wrap up our sermon series, wholeHEARTed, inspired by Brené Brown’s bestselling book The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are. We will take a look back at the values we’ve cultivated the past 11 weeks and the thoughts and behaviors we need to let go in order to make room. We hope to see you in person or online! The People of God in Community – Philippians

Sunday, February 23 Traditions worship service. Philippians is one of the letters Paul wrote from prison. It’s also his most personal letter because Paul knew these people so well. (You can read about Paul in Philippi in Acts 16.) In response to the Philippians kindness and generosity, Paul writes this letter full of gratefulness thanking God for this community of Jesus followers. We’ll find Paul’s encouragement for today, too, as he encourages us to imitate the humility of Christ and through the cultivation of joy find resilience in the midst of trouble. It’s a short letter, so you are encouraged to read it before you come to worship this Sunday, February 23rd at 9am in the CLC or 11am in the Sanctuary. Philippians 1:1-11; 2:1-5 Philippians 4:2-9

CLC Dedication

Sunday, October 6 Traditions online worship service. On Sunday, October 6 we will officially dedicate and celebrate the work of the Heart and Home team on the Christian Life Center. We will welcome Reverend Ray Warren and our District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Chris Brady in worship at 11:00 am and finish the service in the upstairs hall of the CLC with communion and a potluck lunch. For this online service we hope you rejoice and give thanks to God for the progress that has been made and the possibilities that this space will bring for our congregation and our community. The King Enters Jerusalem

Palm Sunday, March 24 Traditions online worship service. Welcome to Holy Week! Palm Sunday is a high and holy day in the life of the church marking the beginning of Holy Week as we recount the stories surrounding Jesus’ final week leading to the events of Good Friday and Easter. This Sunday we will wave our palm branches like the followers of Christ did so long ago as Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem. We would invite you to pay special attention this Sunday to just how Jesus chooses to make that entrance. As we seek to be imitators of Christ we can learn much from the Palm Sunday story. Made for Beauty

Sunday, September 25 “How Beautiful” series.  Traditions online worship service. This Sunday, September 25 as we continue in our How Beautiful series, we will talk about how we are each made IN and FOR beauty– for what is good and true and lovely. When we don’t claim our own sacred worth in the eyes of God, we often engage in ‘self’ or ‘other’ destroying behaviors that only cause suffering.
