As Communications Coordinator, Laura spreads the word about White Plains UMC services, programs and events. Creating inviting graphics and promotions, posting to our church social media accounts and keeping the latest details available on our WPUMC website are all priorities.
Outside of White Plains UMC, Laura provides marketing solutions for other churches and small businesses including website development and social media management.
Laura is an active member and volunteer at Parkwood United Methodist Church in Durham. Communications is very much a focus there too, managing the church website and social media presence. In the early 2000’s, Laura also served as Youth Coordinator for Parkwood UMC – a different adventure!
When not focused on a screen, you can often find Laura out and about with her 11-year-old pup Benji or gathered with extended family and friends. You may also spot her, on occasion, camera in hand chasing a sunset.
