Making Jesus Real to Children
Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights of the White Plains Children’s Ministry program. VBS presents an opportunity to share Jesus not only with the children of White Plains but with those in our community as well as one of our church’s largest outreach ministries. Each summer, VBS creates memories that help lock Bible truths in a child’s heart and mind for a lifetime. It also is an opportunity to engage youth and adults in meaningful service opportunities to be the light of Christ to a child. The messages, music, and Bible lessons are directed to the children, but God uses those messages for the adult and teen volunteers too. VBS creates the energy to make Jesus real to children because at the center of all the fun and craziness is the truth of God’s Word.
