Food Pantry Ministry

The White Plains UMC Food Pantry exists to serve Cary, NC, and the surrounding community by providing food to anyone in need.

Our purpose is to share God’s love, without discrimination, in a visible and tangible way. We treat those who come for food as true guests.

The Food Pantry Ministry hosts monthly distributions from 10:00 am until supplies run out in our main parking lot and are rain or shine! All guests will receive food boxes from The Produce Box. The Mother and Baby Ministry also participates by giving away diapers and wipes for families in need at the event.

Looking to be a part of serving in the Food Pantry Ministry?

How can I donate food?…The Food Pantry is currently collecting the following items: Large cans of tuna, 12-16 oz jars of peanut butter, 1 lb bags of rice or beans, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce (no glass containers please), spaghetti, cereal (box no bigger than 10-12 inches high), toiletries of ANY size, and children’s books, Items may be dropped off in the Mission Barrels located in the Sanctuary or CLC lobby.
