Today we celebrate a defining moment in the life of our congregation: the original mortgage from when the Christian Life Center was built has been paid off! This milestone marks not only the completion of a financial commitment, but a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness and the steadfast generosity of our church family.
This moment invites us to both celebrate and recommit. We celebrate God’s provision and the faithfulness of this church family. And we recommit ourselves to ensuring that our ministries remain strong and sustainable and that our buildings are used to serve our community. If you haven’t made a pledge toward our Debt Retirement Initiative you can do so and learn more by clicking here. You can also give directly by check or online at wpumc.com/give by selecting Debt Retirement Initiative or writing DRI on the memo. We ask you to prayerfully consider how you might continue to give, serve, and support the work God is doing among us.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, following our 11am worship services, we will gather in the courtyard to burn the original mortgage and share in fellowship with refreshments as we celebrate.
