The next monthly Fellowship breakfast and program sponsored by the United Methodist Men is Saturday, September 12 at 8:30am in the Chapel beginning with a light breakfast. Rally Day
Rally Day is Sunday, September 20, featuring a church-wide lunch and Pops Concert. Join us for a fellowship lunch in the CLC at 12:15pm on Sunday, September 20. The lunch will be wraps and sandwiches from Jason’s deli. Please Register for Lunch so we know how much food to order. Seeds of Love Tutoring
Seeds of Love (Semillas de Amor) tutoring programs pairs tutors 1:1 with students in grades Kindergarten through High School. No tutoring experience is needed. What do we do? First, we help the student with their homework. Second, we spend time reading books with the student, which helps build their reading comprehension skills. In Seeds of Love, depending on how the student is doing in other areas of their work, tutors may focus on drilling math facts or on spelling and vocabulary. In the…
