Welcoming Wellness – Empowering Mental Health Caregivers

Welcoming Wellness is a mental health ministry for the church and the entire community. This initiative is designed to provide education and helpful resources for caregivers of adolescents and adults experiencing mental health issues. Professionals are brought in monthly to provide in-person presentations. These presentations are also live-streamed on Zoom as a Webinar and are available later on demand from our website. Rally Day, September 20 Traditional worship service. Join us for Rally Day featuring a church-wide lunch and Pops Concert. We hope to see you at worship at 9 or 11 am. Everyone is invited to a fellowship lunch in the CLC at 12:15pm. The lunch will be wraps and sandwiches from Jason’s Deli. We are committed to best practices to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults. All paid staff and volunteers in our ministries are screened and trained on how to create atmospheres where all of God’s children can be safe and welcome.

Are you overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain? Have you experienced loss? Are you struggling to keep a positive outlook after a Pandemic year? Are you wrestling with your faith?

Stephen Ministers in particular walk alongside someone during their time of emotional, physical, or spiritual need, listening to, praying for, and loving that person along the way, providing in-depth one-on-one, confidential care.

Seeds of Love Tutoring

  • 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Seeds of Love (Semillas de Amor) tutoring  programs pairs tutors 1:1 with students in grades Kindergarten through High School. No tutoring experience is needed. What do we do? First, we help the student with their homework. Second, we spend time reading books with the student, which helps build their reading comprehension skills. In Seeds of Love, depending on how the student is doing in other areas of their work, tutors may focus on drilling math facts or on spelling and vocabulary. In the…
