Children's Center

 White Plains Children's Center is an inclusive developmental day center created as an outreach ministry of White Plains United Methodist Church. The center's mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children with special and typical needs can grow and learn in acceptance of one another.

White Plains Children's Center is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. It is also AA licensed by the North Carolina Department of Human Resources and have met area mental health standards. These accreditations guarantee that your child will be provided with a healthy and safe environment. We have achieved such an environment through our qualified staff, low staff-to-child ratios, age- appropriate activities and competent administration.

We are open 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

White Plains Children's Center Perpetual Internet Fundraiser
 
 Order products on line from over 100 major stores and the White Plains Children's Center will receive compensation. Examples of stores include Target, KB toys, Best Buy, Gap, Old Navy, Home Depot, Staples, Office Depot, Macy's to name a few. Note instructions below: 

  1. To access the website, click on this link www.bign.com/wpumc.
  2. Click on the BigN Marketplace icon.
  3. By clicking on the BigN Marketplace site, you will access a listing of all the participating stores.
  4. Click on the store of your choice. 

After clicking on a given store, you will be on that store's actual website which all customers view. The prices you pay will be like any other customer. The difference is by accessing the particular store through the church, your purchases can be tracked and the Children's Center will receive cash back from the company for the purchase you made online. The average cash back to the church for a given purchase which goes to the Children's Center is 10%.
