Children's Ministry

Children at White Plains UMC are highly valued members of our congregation, engaging with us in worship, Bible study and family events.  We seek to offer our children a loving environment that teaches the Word of God and gives them the opportunity to grow, play, and learn together as God’s children. White Plains offers nursery ministries for all worship services and most congregational events. On a weekly basis, White Plains offers Children’s Church and Sunday School every Sunday, and Missions and More on Wednesdays through the school year. Vacation Bible School and two 3-day camps keep our children excited and challenged to learn all summer. Special Holy Day events for children abound.

We also encourage our children to serve Jesus in regular ministries of mission and prayer. Carol Carawon, our Director of Children’s Ministries, welcomes your children to White Plains Church, and is happy to iinvite you into White Plains’ Children’s Ministries as partner in ministry to our youngest members.
