    Position Description:
    Rob oversees all programs for youth in grades 6-12. In addition to his responsibilities at White Plains UMC, Rob is active at the Conference level as a member of the Conference Committee on Safe Sanctuaries and on the District level as the Raleigh District Youth Coordinator.

    Rob Phillips has been a member of White Plains since 1985. He and his wife Cheryl met as participants in the college age class. Rob and Cheryl have a daughter Victoria born in 2001. After several years of volunteering with the youth Rob accepted the position of Director of Youth Ministries in 1998. Rob's college experience includes the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduate work specializing in youth ministry at Pfeiffer University. In 2008 Rob received his Professional Certification in Youth Ministry through the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church. As the Director of Youth Ministries.  

    Rob believes our ministry to and with youth must be Christ Centered, Youth Led, and Relationship Based.
